Sign up your children for this year’s Italian Language & Culture Summer Camp. For four weeks this summer children (ages 4 to 16) can immerse themselves in the wonders of Italian language and culture through a wide range of enjoyable and educational activities on Casa Italia’s beautiful grounds.
Our program focuses on teaching your children the Italian language through formal and informal lessons, using games, songs and skits. Children can choose from a variety of activities, including folk, modern and renaissance dance; social graces; genealogy; ethics; fencing; gardening; cooking and baking lessons; chess; soccer; bocce; volleyball; water activities; Italian table games; theatrical productions; and Olympic-style events in cooperation with CONI.
Your children will also learn about selected Italian regions through geography, history, food and songs, and archeological research of selected Italian cities. They will also be exposed to a variety of musical genres such as opera, folk, popular and renaissance. Main Street Opera will conduct a two-day musical workshop. A petting zoo and pony rides will also be available.
Camp fees cover nutritious snacks throughout the day — including fruit drinks and bottled water, fresh fruit, and ice cream — and a complimentary T-shirt. The camp will conclude on July 22 with a performance by the children and a family picnic luncheon with a petting zoo, pony rides, water slide, etc.
Our camp is run by certified and skilled language instructors.

BY-THE-WEEK:
Camp can be purchased by the week at$250 for full-day camp and $175 for half-day camp. (No other discount will apply.)
EXTENDED HOURS:
We are offering extended hours from 7-9:30 a.m. and from 3:30-6 p.m. for a fee of $10/hour.
