Gala Event
Casa Italia held its 52nd annual Gala Event on Saturday, February 25 at the Ashton Place in Willowbrook. The event was a wonderful success. The event honored 2023 Man-of-the-Year Edward S. Lezza Jr. and 2023 Humanitarian Joseph A. Russo. The Master of Ceremonies for the evening was Chris Desanto, the Chair of the event was Vito D’Ambrosio and the 2023 Casa Chairman is Ron Onesti. The entertainment for the evening was the following; The cocktail entertainment was Angel’ Cuore Matto, the dinner entertainment was the Chicago Big Band featuring Jack Muccio and Brian Patti, and the after dinner entertainment was 4The Beat Band. The American National Anthem was sung by Jack Muccio and the Italian National Anthem was sung by Angel’ Cuore Matto and Jack Muccio.
