Italian Classes
This winter we are offering Beginning 1 Session 2 – on Monday evenings only, Beginning 2 – Session 2 on Tuesday evenings, Advanced 1 Session 2 – on Wednesday evenings. All evening language classes will be offered remotely via Zoom.
Adult Italian classes run for 16 weeks and are 2 hours long from 7 to 9 p.m.
Textbooks are required for all classes.
The in-person format of all children’s classes currently remains unchanged!
Safety precautions will be taken at each location to help ensure the well-being of all our students and staff members. Children’s classes may be moved remotely as well, if necessary, based on how the current Covid situation will evolve.
Classes are held in various locations throughout the Chicagoland area. The program runs for 30 weeks during the school year.
Exploratory classes are offered to children between 5 – 7 years of age for 1 hour.
- Please Note: Students who turn 5 before the end of December will be allowed to register.
Beginning classes (levels 1, 2, 3) are offered to students between 8 – 12 years of age for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
- Please Note: Students who are 8 years old must be in 3rd grade in order to be able to register.
- Students who register for levels 2 and 3 must have prior basic knowledge of the Italian language.
Intermediate & Advanced classes are offered to students between 12 – 14 years of age for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
REFUND POLICY:
A full tuition refund of 100% will be given if a student withdraws before the first scheduled class. A partial refund of 80% will be given if a student withdraws between the first and second scheduled classes. NO refunds will be given after the second scheduled class.
**Books for children’s and adult classes are not sold by Casa Italia. They are not returnable and not refundable.
