Intermediate II through Advanced III
Student must have knowledge of conversational Italian, be familiar with grammar, verbs, regular, irregular and reflexive. Student must also know past participle, future, imperfect, and conditional verb usage, and conjugations. This will be a multi-level course. We’ll do fun exercises, have discussions, conversations, play games, have contests, etc.

Take a tantalizing culinary tour of Italy with language teacher & passionate amateur chef Giovanna Dimetros.
Your fun-filled adventure will include a cooking class, recipes, general information, and a mini-language class with the spellings and pronunciations of Italian words and phrases related to food.
Typical dishes from Italy will be prepared and enjoyed by the students with Italian music playing in the background. Singles and couples welcome.

Istituto Italiano di Cultura is proud to present Rovine Circolari in
“Via del dollari” – A Celebration of the Italian Accordion.
Via del dollari – Dollar Street, is the name of the avenue that runs through the center of Castelfidardo, a small town in the Marche region known throughout the world for the accordions it manufactures.
Via dei dollari is also the name of a musical and theatrical celebration of this magical instrument presented by Rovine Circolari, an Ancona-based troupe directed by actress and singer Isabella Carloni.
Through stories, poems and songs, Carloni and accordionist Christian Riganelli will conjure a generation of Italian immigrants who left their homeland with little more than their dreams and their accordions in search of a better life in America.
The performance will begin at 1:30 in the Mentesana-Weber Room (Chandelier Room) . Coffee and light refreshments will be served at 1:00 p.m..
