“Orlando”

When Orlando’s son unexpectedly dies after moving to Brussels from their farming village in Italy, Orlando learns he has a 13-year-old granddaughter. She’s as personable and sophisticated as he is rustic and stubborn, and he places her for adoption when — well, you know what they say about Italians and the bonds of family.

“Santo cielo” (For Heaven’s Sake)

In this rollicking comedy shot in Sicily, God wants a baby to be born on Earth and become a new messiah, but the angel assigned to the task goofs up badly and suddenly a man becomes pregnant — and at the same time as his wife. The plot twists get crazier from there.
