Adults’ Italian, Fall 2020
Adults’ Italian classes run for 16 weeks and are 2 hours long. Most class instruction will be delivered in a traditional format.
Fee: $340/class if paid before August 31; $390/class if paid after
Textbooks required for most classes, and are not included. (See below)

Classes may be moved to an online format, if necessary, based on how the current COVID situation will evolve.

Refund Policy
A full tuition refund of 100% will be given if a student withdraws before the first scheduled class. A partial refund of 80% will be given if a student withdraws between the first and second scheduled classes. NO refunds will be given after the second scheduled class.
**Books for children’s and adults’ classes are not sold by Casa Italia. They are not returnable and not refundable.
Textbooks for all children’s and adults’ classes are not included in the tuition price.

Overview of Adults’ Language Classes
Beginning 1: Students will acquire new Italian vocabulary and grammar skills. No previous knowledge of Italian is required.
Beginning 2: Students will expand their vocabulary skills and will be introduced to a higher level of grammar and cultural concepts. A minimum of one year of Italian learning is required.
Advanced 2: Students will continue to improve their previous vocabulary, grammar and cultural skills. They will be able to master how to correctly apply grammar rules and sharpen their comprehension and writing skills. Completion of Advanced 1 is recommended.
Conversational: Students will sharpen their oral communication and pronunciation skills. They will gradually discover new vocabulary, phrases, idioms and expressions that will allow them to converse in Italian more effectively and fluently.

* To qualify for the early registration discount, your registration form and full payment must be received by the office no later than August 31, 2020. Registrations sent by mail will be accepted if post marked by August 31, 2020. No exceptions will be made.
